Bonus & Offers: 8.6/10
Support & Payments: 7.4/10
This operator’s transparency on providing solid customer service and fast payouts are admirable but the fact that they do so in practice is even more so.
In addition, their partnership with two leading games providers, permanent, dedicated promotions and responsible gaming tools that go above the norm make it an ideal place to play.
But how do they do this and have the awards they picked up along the way been well-deserved? Keep on reading our Guts casino review to find out.
This casino was initially reviewed in November 2018.

Evolution and NetEnt Live power Guts live casino with over seventy live dealer tables from roulette, blackjack and baccarat to innovative titles such as Lightning Roulette and Common Draw Blackjack. The layout of this area follows a conventional structure with game tiles that are quite large for each one and don’t showcase nearly as much information as the space allows for – only the bet ranges for each. They’re categorised by game type and can be filtered by Popularity, Provider, in ascending and descending order based on bet limits, and you’re able to save your favourite ones by pressing the Star button
The Guts welcome offer is tailored to suit all the different markets they serve. Each one has been thought out to suit the average player for each country and may be chosen when you’re ready to make your first deposit. Once you’ve claimed their initial offer, plenty of Guts promotions follow. We were pleasantly surprised to see that equal focus is placed on both casino and live dealer promotions with long-term offers like Magic Mondays and ad-hoc roulette and blackjack campaigns with prize pools and individual cash prizes up for grabs. We’re sure they send out Guts bonuses by SMS and email, so be sure to check your account settings and on-site inbox too.
Unfortunately, there is very little information on what Guts VIP programme actually is. Their FAQ page (more on this later), mentions a Reward system which a support agent we spoke with explained compensates with bonuses and free spins based on your participation in campaigns. You’ll be notified of these via email and/or SMS so check your communications settings if you’re interested. Another agent we spoke did say that their loyalty scheme is available but it’s invite-only and, again, no information is available. The fact that it’s all kept under wraps is rather disappointing as we much prefer transparency around what customer loyalty rewards.
Guts online casino is unlike other websites we’ve reviewed before in terms of its look and feel. Its colour scheme consists of three main shades – white, black and the candy-red of its circular logo. And while elements such as the navigation menu, promotions bar and those all too familiar game tiles are present, each part seems to have a more refined – perhaps just more modern – look to it. Our first impressions are good but what’s it like beyond that? We loaded our HP laptop and OnePlus 3T to explore.

As we hinted at, there’s a contemporary appeal to Guts.com. All the parts of the landing page will be familiar to you if you’ve visited a few gambling sites before but there’s something especially visually appealing about it. There’s direct access to this operator’s four verticals from the top with a promotional banner beneath this. It’s followed by a games menu and filtering tab (more on this further down) and the usual tiles below. Another thing we like (even though some designers may criticise it for excessive use of space) is the larger, vertical tiles that showcase the most popular titles.
As we mentioned earlier, more information could be displayed in this area that would make it more useful for us end-users. Their Live Casino page follows a similar format as their homepage while Promotions and About Us pages differ from the norm as they’re divided into two parts – the right side to show the stream of current campaigns and the left side to view the details of each one at a time. Other areas such as the FAQ page are also well-laid out with distinct headings and the use of collapsible areas to make the page less overwhelming. As we said, it’s different but we like what we see overall.
Probably given the modernity of their PC site, Guts mobile casino is pretty much identical to what we just described. Of course, it’s all compressed to suit smaller screens but nothing much has changed except for the addition of a thumb nav to make moving around far simpler. The only other feature that’s absent is the dual view that exists on the Promotions and About Us pages which has been swapped for a single-page overlay. It’s easy on the eyes, and this is honestly one operator where we feel that equal effort has been put towards both versions of their site with smooth coherence between the two.
The minds behind Guts set out to ”develop an online casino… which is second to none when it comes to a high-quality gaming experience.”. We like the sounds of that but don’t want to simply take their word for it. So with the bar set high, we held onto our two devices for a little longer to assess how it all works together to deliver on this claim.
As active casino players who appreciate a vast selection at our fingertips, there were two things that caught our eye right away. The first is a game search bar that is ever-present on the site. Sure, this is by no means a wow-factor feature but as many operators forego it, we thought it’s worth a mention. Secondly, is the more advanced sorting tool that can be used to reorder games in terms of popularity, alphabetically and by provider. The first two work fine (though we do wonder how they define popularity) while the latter could be refined to show groups of provider’s titles in a clearer way. These are two ways in which this operator has gone the extra mile but we’d like to see more from them down the line.
Again, the mobile version of Guts.com is almost identical to desktop in terms of how it works. The search bar and filtering functionality are there and our views on them remain the same. Once improvements are made to the PC site we’d like these translated onto smartphone as well. It works well on our handheld device but other than that there’s nothing else to write home about.
Guts apps for Apple and Android are downloadable from their respective app store as confirmed by a member of their support team. Unfortunately, we were unable to download either one ourselves (most likely due to our location) but if you’ve tried one of them before do share your thoughts at firstname.lastname@example.org. We’d love to hear from you!
When you’re ready to become a depositing customer at Guts.com, you’ll be able to choose from six different payment methods (at least if you’re based in Europe) as shown in the table above. Both the Deposit and Withdrawal tabs are equally straightforward to use with all the methods clearly visible and the accepted currencies are EUR, NOK, SEK, GBP, USD, CAD and AUD.
Our only real gripe with this part of their site is the fact that the FAQs on the topic could be far more detailed. They do not explicitly state the need-to-know information such as the minimum/maximum amounts you can add to/withdraw from your account and the Guts withdrawal timeframes. The service works well enough, they just need to add sufficient support to match it.
If you have any queries about your account, security or most other topics, your starting point is this operator’s FAQ. It’s split into eight main categories with at least ten questions and answers per section, so it’s most likely that common pain points are addressed here. However, if you’d like one-on-one help, Guts live chat is available 24/7. The two customer care agents we spoke with were both polite and empathetic in addressing our concerns quickly. They’ve yet to implement a direct phone though, so we hope to see them do so soon.
The commitment of Guts responsible gaming can be seen immediately based on the fact that they invested in four different types of gaming limits – deposit, loss, session and wagering limits – available to players. We’ve commented on this before, but your gambling habits differ from ours and your friends, so we were pleased to see the operator go the extra mile to cater for this. These can be applied to your account via the Set Your Limits tab and can be set either daily, weekly or monthly. Their page dedicated to this area is highly detailed with four tips to help you control your gambling and self-assessment questions to get you thinking about how you play. All in all, we’re impressed with their efforts here too.
Have you wagered with Guts casino before? If so, we’d love to hear from you! Share your experience, thoughts and opinions – good or bad – on email@example.com and we’ll look into what you have to say and potentially edit our Guts casino review. In the meantime, compare this operator to others before you play.
