Responsible Gambling Week brings together all sectors of the UK gambling industry

The first ever Responsible Gambling Week sees the major players from the UK gambling industry join forces to promote greater responsibility and player safety.

Commencing today, 12th October, and running until 18th October - the week serves to bring together everyone from players to providers, and casinos to affiliates with the objective ‘Let’s Talk About Responsible Gambling’, A clear purpose of the period is to open the dialogue on what it means to gamble responsibly. Much publicised in the press recently, discussion is sure to revolve around the development of available responsible gaming tools and further raise awareness of measures being taken within the industry.

What happens during Responsible Gambling Week?

In addition to the already existing programs and activities, Responsible Gambling Week will also involve:

  • Information points created around the UK to provide more information on responsible gambling and the tools and services that help players stay safe.
  • Online chat rooms where experts from the gambling industry will answer questions and provide guidance.
  • The same experts will appear on Twitter on Monday 16th October for a live Q&A session to answer questions related to responsible gambling that are sent to @RGWeek2017 with the hashtag #RGWLive.
